A Love Letter to Blue Heron Farms

Dear Blue Heron Farms- I love you. I love your beautiful presentation. Your friendly, queered up, tattooed, smart and informed staff who remember faces and names and favorite blooms, and don't take any bullshit from the rude pushy customers. I love your flowers that I indulge in every week and last a very, very long time. I can't tell you the number of people who stop me on the street, in the park, and in the library asking me where they can get them. I love that you have the patience to answer, "What's the name of this one?", ten times in five minutes. I love your crunchy carrots that are so tasty, all your greens, your fennel, all those kales, your herbs; pretty much every delicious thing within your booth. I love that you will take the time to answer questions about your farm, and that you actually know what you're talking about. I blush when you ask me about topping my carrots, because... I have a HUGE market crush on Blue Heron Farms. So go there, get some of their vegetables and munch a few right after you buy them. Spoil yourself with their flowers, and make new friends on the way home.
