We love this farm!

My family first visited Day Spring Farm last Christmas when we went to get our Christmas tree. We had a great time, found the perfect tree and cut it down ourselves, the kids had fun, we took a hay ride, and did some of our Christmas shopping at their "Christmas Shop." We have since begun buying pastured chickens, lamb and eggs from Day Spring Farm, and they are excellent! I had never tried Romney lamb before, but was pleased to find that it has a delicate flavor very similar to beef, not gamey at all. It is wonderful to be able to walk out in the field and see how our food is being raised. My kids always love going over to the farm to pick up our meats!
