Educational, Health, Environmental and Communal Rewards

Being a part of Sarver's Hill Farm is enriching on many levels. I have quickly listed 4 in the subject heading.
My children and I get to find out where food comes from be seeing the vegetables grow throughout the summer. We have the knowledge that the food is harvested using sustainable practices that ensures it is good for both our bodies and the environment. And by volunteering on the farm we get to develop relationships with others while picking strawberries, digging potatoes or filling orders on the 10 person assembly line at the end of the day.It's really nice to be able to know the people who grow the food my family and I eat while knowing that we are supporting someone that is local and who is a great person.
