Tewksbury Grace farms has some of the tastiest and freshest vegetables that I have ever had. I moved to central Pennsylvania from Eugene Oregon expecting the worst for produce. I was pleasantly surprised to find people like Johnny and Leah who are completely dedicated to growing organic food in a sustainable fashion. I have learned a lot about sustainable farming from them and we have had a lot of really fun conversations as well. When the growing season ends I go through Tewksbury withdrawals. My body and taste buds are much happier when I get to eat all of their awesome vegetables. Living in Lewisburg it is a treat to have such wonderfully fresh food delivered right to my doorstep. Another great part of the Tewksbury CSA is the variety. I have always felt that there is a wide assortment of vegetables in each delivery. It is fun to receive a sheet of recipes each week, it helps to give me new interesting ideas for using the vegetables. One of my favorite vegetables the Tewksbury's grow is the brussel sprouts: they are little firm and sweet pieces of heaven. I also really enjoyed the tomato festival at the end of last summer. We got to visit the farm and see and taste all kinds of beautifully colored heirloom tomatoes. Johnny and Leah are great to talk with. If for some reason you are hesitant to join the CSA I would highly recommend contacting them with your questions. Johnny and Leah, you are my farming heroes!
