Pasta cooking class review

Cathy's class was well worth it. She has a way of including everyone in the food preparation that makes you feel welcome. Then as the class progresses, we get to see how everyone else is coming along with their dishes and to have a try at anything new. In this one, we made pasta from scratch and used the manual noodle maker. Cathy is so relaxed and competent in the kitchen that she can oversee 4 or 5 recipe preparations at once. We are each given some 'space' and some reassuring guidance as we prepare our dish. When everything's done, we enjoy eating and critiquing the food. It is here at the table that we discuss actually using these recipes in our daily lives. A valuable facet of the experience!
