building a community of food and nurturing in Upper Michigan

I first belonged to a food co-op back in the '70s when "3 for 3 Food Co-op" brought healthy fruits, vegetables to folks in the Detroit area. Marquette Food Co-op has come a long, long way from those fledgling efforts. It's not only the food, but their commitment to outreach and education in the Marquette area. MFC has become a true leader in community development for the Central Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We're new to the area and am thrilled to have found the Marquette Food Co-op.
