Still Going Strong in Ripley
By: Kelly    (Jun 19, 2009)

The farmer's market in Ripley is my first errand every Saturday morning. First, I check out TLC Dairy and purchase goat cheese. Sometimes, a little homemade ice cream is a special treat. Otherwise, it's on to fresh berries and a real fruit icee to cool me down while I shop. Local produce is as fresh as it comes from a variety of farmers, but Canterbury Farms is a definite MUST STOP for me each week. Their fresh eggs, chicken, rabbit, and produce always fills my bag. Hartley Farms usually has the best berries and other stands sell homemade breads, pastries, sweets, soaps and candles.

My understanding is that when the harvests start coming in heavier, the market extends to Thursdays also.

This is located in the Tractor Supply parking lot in Ripley.
