The freshness of the food, the friendliness of the faces on Saturday mornings make every weekend special. There are street performers, delectable baked goods, friends and folks of every age from babies to
senior seniors! Dogs, and flowers, cabbages and kale and herbs for every dish's requirements. Cheese,and yogurt and popsicles and even the opportunity to buy local meats from animals that were free roaming and organically fed. There are petitioners working on many environmental and political issue encouraging passersby to sign. Held adjacent to the town common in Amherst, there is often a fair or some other special event that has the downtown bopping and involved.
