More than food!

We had never heard of CSA before meeting Dan and Joann Nelson of Danjo Farms. This has been an entirely new and fun experience for us. Not only have we enjoyed the produce and eggs, but we have enjoyed taking our "city" grandchildren and ourselves out to the farm to see the animals and learn where food really comes from. It helps us all retain a correct perspective about life. So it's really more than about food, it's about who we are in the scheme of the natural world. It makes us more grateful for everything we eat when we actually know the source of our food. It reminds us of what a miracle the growing process is. The fact that it's a family farm makes it even more wonderful. Somewhere deep in the soul we all know that kind of life is the very basis of our existence. Thank you, Nelson's, for sharing your dream with the Kent family.
