Padron Hot Peppers and Amazing Honey

Our family joined the Basket of Life CSA last year. We received wonderful bags full of cabbage, beets, summer and winter squash, several varieties of tomatoes, and much, much more every week. We love chatting with Heather and Eric and their property is beautifully nestled in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I must rave though especially for their padron hot peppers and honey. I had never had these wonderful little peppers before and fell in love. Heather provides great recipes each week in the newsletter of suggested dishes for that week's bounty so I was never at a loss to use up all of the new and exciting varieties of vegetables. Finally, their honey. It is the best tasting honey I have ever had. We live near Krieger's where several local bee keepers sell their honey. However, the Walters honey is just the right sweetness and full bodied flavor. Heather used it to make wonderfully creamy and smooth caramels which she sold at the Penninsula Farmers Market and by order. We savored our box eating just one each evening as a treat.
