High Cross Farm, Superior produce and special people!

My first year purchasing a CSA share was 2009 and through my search for superior produce, I found much more. I chose High Cross Farm after studying reviews about many farms on the Internet. It was the right choice! "Farmer Steve," Kath, their sons and crew take great pride in the produce they provide to their CSA customers. Our produce box came once-a-week, and we picked it up at a nearby location. My husband and I could hardly wait; we came to view the box as a gift! The quality and variety of produce was superior. My love of arugula grew by leaps and bounds. Everything we received was beautiful and delicious, from raspberries to heads of lettuce that were worthy of true admiration. But what turned out to be the most important thing over the course of the growing season, was the quality of the people who grew our produce. Steve and Kath love the land and tend it with respect and care. Growing food for their customers is a labor of love. During this first-time CSA experience, I learned that in my hunt for superior produce, I also found special people who grow it. That was the real gift.
