The first review is very disturbing. It comes from a person who doesn't know what he or she is talking about and is comfortable spreading rumors that have the power to destroy a man's livelihood.
I've known Mike for about two years, done a CSA with him, had my teenaged son work for him (my son loves Mike), been to his farm many times. Mike sells his own food and has sold food for other LOCAL farmers, including members of his family, out of a favor to them.
His eggs, grown by his own chickens, are organic in the Michael Pollan sense of the term: the yolks are bright orange, the color coming from the beta carotene of fresh green grass. As others have noted, Mike offers tips on how to prepare the food he sells. He's a great guy. Gregory Meyerson
