What a Treat!

We visited the Robison Park market on Saturday morning, October 10th. We were visiting ABQ from Michigan for the Hot Air Balloon Fest. We found the advertisement in the Albequerque newspaper and asked for directions from the Marriott Hotel where we were staying. Before heading for Taos we stopped at the Robinson Street and one other market north of ABQ. We bought many cool items from local artists. My turtle carved by "Silver" is sitting on my coffee table as a genuine reminder of ABQ. My snake, also carved by Silver, was worth the hassle I received getting through TSA and all the funny looks I received while dragging the 3 foot long object through the airport. This was a super day and a great way to mingle with the locals. We made our best purchases at the market:) Carolyn Espe and her crew do a great job. I suggested our hotel promote this location to their future guests. Thanks for a great unexpected surprise!
