My husband and I recently determined we need to eat a high-protein / high-fat diet (based on "nutritional typing"). This was a real shift for us. We knew we needed a source of high-quality (no antibiotics) 100% grass-fed for the beef, and responsibly raised pork. How lucky that Sloans Creek Heritage Meats is just a few miles away from us! We love their meat, and Nathan and Ellen are a great young couple. We're glad to help support their effort. Brought our citified granddaughter out to visit the farm to see where meat really comes from. ;-)
P.S. If you like liver, you'll love their beef liver! Just bought some pork liver, but haven't tried it yet. Once in a while we'll splurge on some lamb.
