2010 will be my third year with New Century CSA. The produce is outstanding and the customer service amazing. The subscription process involves purchase of a vegetable package and optional fruit packages. If you love strawberries, but not muskmelon, you can buy three packages of berries and skip the melons. They also allow you to opt out of certain vegetables and substitute others. Home delivery is nice for those of us without cars.
Tim and Christy provide nice touches like an e-mailed newsletter and recipes that go along with the produce being delivered that week (just how do you cook kohlabi?) A mid-summer and end-of-summer customer service questionaire allows for participant feedback--which is incorporated into the next year's crops.
The only drawback is that their season ends in September. Other than that, New Century CSA is highly recommended!
