First Try of a CSA - Wonderful Experience!

I've really enjoyed the produce, eggs, flour, herbs, etc. this year (and the year hasn't ended yet!). It's my first experience with a CSA and it was NOT a disappointment. I was really afraid I'd get some of the sad looking produce I've seen at some of the Farmer's Markets, but that just hasn't happened! I'm so thrilled that I've had the opportunity, too, to try new things - Okra, Tomatillos, Bok Choy, and Beets (I was a VERY pickey eater....). It's been just great. In addition, if someone has a great recipe to share for a "different" item (I shared my Tomatillo Salsa recipe!), Cris emails the group to make sure everyone has the opportunity to try it. It's been a great experience. I look forward to every pick-up day - there's something wonderful waiting for me every time!
