Flour City Bread Company produces baguettes, pain au leaven ( in a number of varieties) , semolina, and a lovely rye (usually only available at Swans Market on Parsells Avenue).
With a passion for excellence and the latest in baking ovens they seem to have captured the magic required to make artisanal bread that are about as close as you can get at a French Boulangerie (especially in this area) without leaving the country.
They also produce a number of excellent pastries and cookies, and their croissants (plain, chocolate and almond) are first rate.
Finally a place I can get my French bread and pastry fix without having to get on a plane!
