Tom Carey of Sundew Gardens is a remarkable community resource. He has taken on the goal of helping people get access to the freshest, highest quality garden produce and modeling how it is done. The cost of a share of sundew gardens is ultra reasonable. The tour of the gardens is a lesson in permaculuture, sustainability, and self-reliance. Additionally, Tom writes informative articles in the local papers and is a great speaker.
The diversity of products from his garden is inspiring. Chickens, eggs, kumquats, blueberries, figs, herbs, veggies, plants, timber bamboo, and many more. Truly a community treasure.
