If You Miss This Place, You'll Regret It!!

I happened to come across "A Little Organic Farm" through word-of-mouth. Finding it involved a drive through some absolutely beautiful country above Paso Robles just off highway 46. Cindy and Gary (the owners) were charming and delightful people and took us for a walk around the farm, which is still a Work-In-Progress that is exciting to hear about. We bought some of the most beautiful eggs I've ever seen (a wonder in technicolor!) that turned out to taste better than they looked, which was fabulous. I fell in love with Cindy's granola mix and couldn't make it last more than a day. Their produce was fresh, lovely to look at and delicious. Lots of varieties and choices and they promise more to come in the seasons ahead. Somewhere in the near future they will be opening a 2-unit bed and breakfast right in the middle of all that wonderful country (oh and by the way, the view from there is to die for) and I've asked them to put our names on the list pronto. Gary told me they'll be adding to their livestock and plan to start a line of soaps sometime this year. I can't think of a more relaxing, bucolic, eye-pleasing place to spend 2 or 3 days while investigating the many wineries in the area. Trust me -- you gotta check this place out! I'd drive here from the Bay Area any chance I can find. If you need a get-away to distance yourself from urban madness -- this is the place to come.
