Shady Owner and Practices

I recently purchased a product from this company which I determined to be a defect. I returned to the place of business to trade for one that was working properly, and the owner laughed at me and said he could not do anything about it. There was no offer to contact the manufacturer to see if they could help (you know, offer some customer service support) or anything, All he did was laugh at me and said he would not help.
Does he not realize how many years of sales he will now miss in feed and supplies, all to protect a $2 item? Business leaders, don't laugh at good paying customers. It makes you look foolish and it makes us customers scratch our heads at how idiotic some people really are.
