Not overall pleased

This might not have been the best year to join a CSA because it was a dry summer. However, the most upsetting part was the lack of communication between the CSA and customers. There was either a very delayed response or no response when I emailed the farm. Newsletters were random and almost non-existent. One of the first deliveries we received looked rough. It must have sat in a hot car as one of the "herbs" was dead on arrival. As the months went on, I noticed other CSA members (from different local CSAs) getting quite a bit more than I have all season. This is disappointing. Also, there was a lack of variety. Their website is off from what they actually include in their deliveries. Although my family and I enjoyed most of the produce delivered, I was not happy with their customer service and I think this year they also might have added too many shares; possibly bit off more than they could chew.
