The whole family loves it....

We first visited the farm in early spring. Rich spent lots of time taking my 9 year old nephew all around the farm and my nephew loved every minute of it.
Then, we got our first share and the fun really started. Quality and quantity were excellent and our most unexpected delight was making up recipes to match the week's bounty. Our special favorites were spring turnips, arugula, beets and berries but we also enjoyed the tomatoes, potatoes and carrots, kale and swiss chard, baby spinach and so much more!
We will be back next year. Thank you Shoestring for a happy, healthy experience.

As the Shelburne Falls drop-off point at Eddie's Wheels at the corner of State St. and the Mohawk Trail, I'll miss going up to the farm for pick-up, even though it is a long and winding road to get there. But it felt like Xmas in June to have a wonderful bushel basket of fresh veggies delivered to our doorstep - wonderful salad greens, baby squash, crispy radishes, sweet swiss chard - a true bounty of healthy organic veggies that we've been enjoying all week long. Thanks to Rich, Jay and Therese for all their hard labor.
Abundant and delicious

Nestled in the hills of Colrain, Shoestring Farm is a local treasure - that is easily accessible. Through on-farm pickup or drop off delivery points, they have tried to make the CSA experience easy.
The abundant and delicious veggies are definitely worth the investment in this community enterprise. You can tell that farming is not just a job but a vocation for Rich & Jay.
And did I mention that they jar maple syrup available for sale at a special share holder price?
I'm happy to have these guys as my neighbors and glad to be a shareholder.
