Care2 Review: We love this market!

I love the variety of vendors. This market offers the traditional fruits, vegees, and handmade items, and in addition, we can get information and meet local service people from insurance to doctors to retailers.

BECAUSE OF THE WONDERFUL GLASS ARTISTS THAT SELL THEIR CREATIONS THERE, & THE LOCAL FRUITS & VEGETABLES THAT ARE ALSO AVAILABLE: TO BUY / SHOP LOCALLY IS A WIN-WIN FOR EVERYONE!

The Meridian Farmers' Market is one of the most friendly Markets I've ever been to. The staff, vendors and entertainers really enjoy what they do. A FRESH baked cinnamon roll and cup of Joe is the best way to start my Saturday mornings at the Market.

GREAT place to shop!!!

Our family has enjoyed visiting the Meridian Farmers' Market over the last couple of years. Having three small children we look for things to do for the whole family that doesn't cost a lot.

The Market is very family friendly and has a free bounce house for kids, plus, some form of free entertainment to watch or listen to. We enjoy buying a cup of coffee for my wife and I , three fresh made fruit smoothies for the kids, and some gooey cinnamon rolls.

We're able to sit at one of the markets several covered picnic tables and relax while taking in the mornings market excitement. If your adventurous, you can bike in, park your bike in a rack and get oven fresh bread, a fresh tamale or BBQ beef sandwich or hot dog then motor on home.

Shopping is always fun at this market since there are plenty of dessert items, jams, jellies, honey, incredible produce, flowers, decorative baskets, jewelry, crafts and unique items in their "Intl. Bazaar" area.

We especially like the fact that the Market is very clean, eco friendly, smoke free and professionally done. Save some gas and check out this local gem right here in our own Treasure Valley.

Also, you must try the "Stroopwafel", it's to die for! Also, check out the Farmers' Markets own gourmet blend of coffee. They have regular and decaf in ground or bean. The Library Coffeehouse roasts, blends and bags all of the Markets varieties fresh every week.

Note, when the berries are in season arrive early or you'll miss out. One Saturday in June we arrived at 9am and there already was a line to get into the Market just for the berries.
