They have wonderful, fresh fruits and vegetables that come from Cal Poly Pomona.

The friendly, pleasant atmosphere with the low-key but reassuring security presence makes browsing the variety of fresh fruits, baked goods, etc. or enjoying the live music groups while eating a tasty meal makes a visit there a warm, community-unifying experience.

I love buying fresh, locally grown produce. And we have some superb fresh breads and other prepared foods. I'd rather take my children to a farmer's market than to a grocery store--it's more fun!

What happened???
By:    (Jul 31, 2008)

Last time I visited this farmer's market, about a year ago, it was HUGE. It is now down to about a ten minute visit! What a disappointment. Where did all the vendors go?

Farmers Market says:    (Aug 27, 2008)

This market has 30 to 40 vendors with a wide range of produce, prepackaged foods and prepared foods including some crafters. Along with a band playing every week. Years past it was 3 blocks long and more of a swap meet. The type of market has changed for the better. Come and see for yourself or check the sandimasfarmersmarket.com website for pictures and videos.
