Wonderful place for the whole family!

Prairie Winds Farm is a rare jewel. Since first visiting the farm in the spring of 2008, I have returned time and time again with my children. Charlotte, the owner/farmer, is very kind and knowledgeable. She welcomes anyone of any age to come explore farm life at Praire Winds Farm. My children, although still young, have had many wonderful experiences riding horses, feeding goats and rabbits, harvesting eggs from the chickens, digging potatoes, and just running around being kids. One of their favorite activities is taking a ride on the trails through the prairie, being pulled along in a cart by "Buddy" the horse. And, they are always happy to bring home some wonderful honey that Charlotte gets from her own bee hives. We plan on visitng the farm on a regular basis as soon as the weather warms up a bit. It is a great learning experience, and the country air is fabulous!
