Great CSA Program

We love Long Hill Farms CSA program. While the start of the season is very heavy on the greens and we hope 09 brings slightly more fruit, we found a full share to be more then enough for us to split with a neighborhood family. It encouraged us to incorporate more fresh veggies into our family's diet and we loved supporting local agriculture. The owners are very friendly and our children love picking up the produce every week, as they catch up with friends and get to see where their food comes from. The "pick your own patch" was slightly neglected with weeding as the summer progressed but still produced some great herbs, late summer produce, and fantastic pumpkins in the fall. We will know summer is truly here when CSA starts again!
