Friendly, Fun, Fresh & Local
By: Maine Mermaid    (Feb 4, 2012)

This is a really diverse group with top quality organic produce, herbs, fruit, meats, poultry, cheeses, baked goods, granola, freshly prepared Indian, Mexican and other foods, roasted coffee and fresh cut flowers, seedlings, indoor plants, photography, decorative and fine art, crafts, jewelry, soap, pottery, yarn, toys and more. Guest artists each week. This bustling market is like an old-fashioned village, in the best sense. One vendor will recommend you to another and they are all buying from each other too. Kids are running around and locals catch up with their friends. I love the family friendly atmosphere. Their motto is Fresh & Local but they should add 'friendly & fun.'The Saturday market experience is like nutrition for my soul! Wednesdays are good too but the market is not as large or diverse.

Care2 Review: We love this market!
By: Mia S.    (Jun 24, 2009)

After a long winter as the last sad potatoes all wrinkled and eyed, scream put me in the ground there is no more beautiful site then a head of lettuce. The people are wonderful and it feels good to know you are supporting your neighbors and giving your family healthy fresh food. We are very fortune to have such a variety of farms in our area. The artist and crafts people at the market are amazing with such beautiful hand made items.
