Egg- cellent!
By: Susan and Dale McConnell (May 10, 2008)
A Rare Breed's eggs are large, with yolks the color of a tropical sunset. They have a rich flavor. It's also reassuring to know that the eggs come from happy, healthy chickens! A visit to A Rare Breed is like going to a petting zoo, with a clucking, crowing, bleating, whinnying welcoming committee, much of which will hop in your vehicle with you, if given the chance!

i've purchased eggs and meat from A Rare Breed and never been let down. fresh, delicious and best of all, local and ethical. i've visited the farm, seen how the animals are raised and kept, and cannot recommend it enough. this is small local agriculture at its best. your kitchen will love you for bringing this produce into it.
