My husband and I purchased a full CSA share for the 2010 season. We chose Victory Farms because of the farming practices and the debit system. With the debit system, we didn't lose any veggies if we couldn't get to the farmer's market one week. We were also able to choose the foods we eat and not get foods that we wouldn't end up eating. We also liked that we could choose any of the farmer's markets to get our veggies. We are a family of six omnivores and always had plenty of the veggies. Plus, there were melons in the summer. In the fall, we actually had some money left to purchase foods and the farmer allowed CSA members to use it toward purchasing apples from another farmer. Eggs were also available at some of the markets if you got their early. We have now moved and are having trouble finding a CSA as good as this one.
