Reviews for: Standing Stone Farm
NOT a reputable company
By: (Jun 21, 2014)
Paula Butler of Standing Stone Farms charged me $150 in April 2013 for a class to be held in August 2013. SHE cancelled the class and has refused to refund and will not reschedule the class. Do not give this company payment unless you either have the goods or service in hand or you have money to throw away. They are at worst, crooks and at best extremely bad business people with no regard for their customers.

I have tried on more than 4 occasions to make this work for you. The class was rescheduled and you were given other attendance options and none of the dates were acceptable to you. In addition, as you know, I asked you twice to submit some dates that would work for you, offering to literally schedule a class on a date of your choosing. You never responded. I advised you the date in which my schedules would be posted, you never booked into a class. The website states very clearly that "workshop fees are not refundable". I have made an exception on your behalf and offered you product credit or a gift certificate. In addition, we even offered to return your money if you could show me where you ever, submitted dates to me as per my request so that I could schedule a class for you. You have not responded to those requests as of today. I would appreciate and am requesting that you cease your slanderous and libel actions towards my name and company. We have gone above and beyond to try and work with you. If our policy was not clearly stated or if we had not made the numerous attempts to work with you, I could understand your destructive actions. As always, your credit is still available to be used by you or gifted to someone else.

My girlfriend and I took a cheese making class and had a great time. We not only learned to make cheese but enjoyed a wonderful lunch and had a blast playing with the goats. We can't wait to do this again!
