I went diving in Roatan Honduras. 90% of the people there had numerous welts for the noseeum bites...but not me thanks to Pats insect repellant. I'm not sure to the recipe she uses to make it but at a minimum it was citronella in a bees wax base. It lasted for hours.

Heritage Hill Farms CSA was amazing!!! They were very accommodating with schedules and pick-up. Most importantly, the food was not only diverse and wonderful, but Pat always picked it right before arriving. There was some new veggies and fruits that we received that was interesting and great to share, for example the ground cherries. Many of my co-workers and family had never seen them before and we had a good time trying the cherries. We are very excited about next years bounty, and I have no doubt that again it will be an amazing year!

My family couldn't decide what they liked best about Heritage Hills Farm CSA. There were the edible flowers that we candied and served at a dinner party. There were wonderful potatoes, tomatoes, fresh corn and many varieties of lettuce. And then there were the vegetables we'd never had before. We miss those huge salads we had for dinner and can't wait for next summer's crop! And Pat was so accomodating - providing recipes and labelling everything so that we knew what the wide variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers were. I had a great time trying different recipes for all the vegetables and my family had an even better time eating it all! This was an amazing opportunity for us, and one that I would highly recommend participating in.

I had such a great experience with the Heritage Hills Farm CSA. Not only did my family receive vegetables picked right before we received them each week, we got herbs, berries and fresh cut flowers too. There was such a varied selection of vegetables, some I had never even tried before. Pat was always willing to help with different recipes and lent a heling hand to explain what the different vegetables were. Who knew there were so many different ways to prepare beets! I'm so glad I participated in this CSA this year, especially getting to know Pat and visiting her farm in the hills each week. You won't be disappointed.

Don't pass up this opportunity! From the moment you drive up to Heritage Hills Farm, owners Pat & Garey, dogs & barn cats make you feel like part of their family. And what heavenly vegetables and exotic fruits they share with you. Each week you can expect a delicious and abundant supply of the healthiest and freshest produce, herbs and a huge bouquet of gorgeous flowers from Pat's magnificent garden. What could be a better way to start your week, share with friends and feed your family healthy fruits and vegetables?
You haven't lived until you had a salad made with their fresh assortment of lettuces and unless you routinely shop at farmer's markets. If you haven't tried veggies fresh from the earth, the way they should be eaten, you are missing out on one of life's great pleasures. Ever tried Cape Gooseberries or eaten fresh Mulberries? Here's your chance to try new things! Or try new things you've always seen at the market but never bought like for me it was kale, escarole, beets, rhubarb and several herbs I have never tried. The fun doesn't stop there, Pat willing shares wonderful recipes for your bounty.
If you have been thinking about trying a farm share, look no further than the Heritage Hills Farm, you will have the best and most delicious summer of your life!
