Great food, plus they walk the walk!

This is our second year with Earthwize Farms CSA and we think this is a great CSA on all fronts. The variety is wonderful - always 6 or 7 and sometimes as many as 12 kinds of things in a week! Amounts vary but in peak times our full share has included such treats as 3-4 soccer ball-sized cantalopes, 3-4 bigger than basketball watermelons, 8 ears of fresh corn and more- all perfectly ripe and oh so yummy!The farm and their trading partners use sustainable farming methods and we get to participate by switching out reusable delivery bags and returning packaging for composting or reuse as appropriate. Newsletters, a website and Facebook keep us up to date on what's happening and help us learn more about the foods we're getting. All in all a great choice for you and your family!

I found EarthwiZe through localharvest.org and could not be happier with the fact that I did. I am currently in my 3rd six week cycle on getting a 1/2 share delivered weekly to my home in North Augusta, SC. Each week another "Christmas present" arrives on Friday filled with vegetable goodies. I've had wonderful tomatoes (green ones too), summer and zuchini squash, watermelons, a huge pumpkin, onions (delicious), garlic, green beans, green peppers (not my fave), jalepeno peppers, lavender soap (homemade), jasemine (wonderful scent), cherry tomatoes, eggplant (deep and light purple), beets (my wife made beet bread), and my favorite potatoes... we have had fingerlings, white, red, blue and multiple varieties of sweet potatoes (deep orange to almost white), asian pears, and a variety of hot peppers (pablano I think). The list could probably go on but suffice to say the variety is there and EarthWize delivers it all to my door. They also include a small newsletter to help you know what you received and recipe ideas. Another thing I love is the year round capacity of EarthWiZe so I do not have to go back to the grocery store in the fall and winter months. If you are in the CSRA I can highly recommend EarthWiZe.
