Pastured Heritage Chickens and Eggs
By: Jacque Peters    (Jan 8, 2012)

I LOVE Mulberry Creek's pastured Heritage chickens! They are exactly what I have been searching for. The first chicken I baked in the oven, the second I put in the crockpot, and the third I made chicken soup, and they taste exactly like the chickens my grandmother used to raise. I am very, very pleased. I have visited Mulberry Creek Farm and the chickens are truly raised the "right" way, running around, eating bugs and grass. Also, Mulberry Creek's eggs not only taste great, but they are healthier for you than what you purchase in the grocery story. I have been searching a long time for this type of farm and have finally found it!

The veg and fruit are really fresh and the price is so reasonable. The people are very freindly and willing to make offers. O' and I love the stand with the fresh cut flowers. If you bring the vase back the next week, you get 50 cent off.

Anytime you can buy farm fresh produce and products that taste like the foods from your youth and you don't, you've been watching too many commercials and need to get out more. The, "Market" is a win, win for everyone. The farmer gets the monetary reward they deserve and the community gets fresh produce and products. I believe in buying local whenever I possibly can. Try it, you might like it.
