The food is fresh, the farmer, refreshing!
By: Jennifer Disciascio    (Nov 24, 2014)

Kevin has been our farmer for this entire year. Lucky for us, he's young + loves what he's doing, because we hope that he can continue to feed our young family for a long, long time.

Kevin is enthusiastic + exciting to talk with: He loves his job, his animals + he counts his blessings. He is a responsible, serious + passionate farmer. He has high standards when it comes to food safety, sanitation + animal treatment. He works hard + makes the right choices for his farm + his animals, even when those choices may not always be the easiest, most convenient, or most popular.

We're lucky to consider him a part of our extended family + wish him all the best, every day.

His animals are well-loved + well taken care of. The meats are packed well, labeled well + Farmer Kevin's prices are fair and competitive.

In 2014, we have purchased 2 half-hogs + 1 side of beef from Jarosinski Farms. It is all delicious + makes our family very, very happy.

Thank you, Farmer Kevin, for being OUR farmer!

The Christoff's are great!
By:    (Jul 13, 2011)

We have now received our second week from Sandi and Jim Christoff in Bridgeville and we couldn't be happier! The first week we got a box full of peaches, blueberries, beets (my fave), radishes, green onions and gorgeous tomatoes. Oh and zucchini and cukes. In addition, we were presented with a hanging basket full of 5 different herbs! This alone was worth that week's cost and will save me LOTS of money this summer as I love to use fresh herbs but usually end up wasting a lot due to the amount you have to buy at the store.

This week we got a similar box but it included CORN (my kids' fave) and bell peppers.

I can't be happier with my choice to participate in their CSA! I highly recommend CSA to everyone I know!

Wonderful 1st encounter
By: Eric Reschly    (Jul 12, 2011)

We found an add on craigs list for some chicken feed and met Mr. Jarosinski. It was a very pleasant meeting. He is a young man very excited about producing healthy food for folks. It was a delight to meet him. We look forward to further dealings with him as well.

Thanks eric
