Thank you for bringing locally grown with delicious options to McHenrry County. Love your food and your beer!! Wish there were more places like you but in the meantime I'll continue to be devoted customer ;)

i had the grass fed steak with fingerlings and sauteed mushrooms and onions, which was amazing! My girlfriend had the veggie burger and she said it was the best she has ever had. Two brothers hop slam has become one of my favorites after trying it last night on tap. I will definitely be back often and highly recommend!

Since discovering Duke's, just this summer, we have returned over and over again. Sometimes with friends, sometimes with family, but always will great expectations for wonderful, thoughtfully produced cuisine. Applause for the chef and the many farmers, for their loving labors. We have never been disappointed.
Wow! You have to visit this restaurant!

I ate lunch at Duke's yesterday. The depth of flavors and care in choosing ingredients that Chef Zak invests in each dish was truly inspirational. The menu is so good I wanted to try everything. He extends himself by buying locally and organically as often as possible and the difference in flavors and textures reflects his commitment. Please, do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant. You will want to go back for more...I know I do.

We have really enjoyed dining at Duke's since they changed their menu to include so many local and organic choices. We buy from the same farmers that they use so we know the quality of the food is excellent. The beet salad is fantastic!
Great food, great atmosphere!

I wanted to check out the re-vamp of a local favorite, so I met up with a friend at Duke's. The beer selection is HUGE and the bartender was able to recommend something I immediately loved. I was really amazed at the wide selection of beers they offer, even more than the US Beer Co.! We nibbled on appetizers (pretzel fondue and 3 slider combo) and were very impressed. I would definitely love to go back and sample the menu items which range from exotic salads to in-depth entrees. There are also daily drink specials and awesome live music every Thursday night from Fluff and Rob Webster. Duke's hosts other local and regional music acts too. Check out their website or myspace for a current schedule. This is still a home-town favorite!
