Made getting and eating our veggies SO much easier!
By: Addie Bedford    (Mar 2, 2012)

It was an adventure every week, as I got a wealth of vegetables, most of which I recognized, many that I did not. I learned how to prepare the newbies (and learned that my family does not like Swiss chard, loves kohlrabi!), got enough green beans and pickling cukes to learn how to make dilly beans and pickles (OH MY YUM), and though I hope to develop my own garden in the future, I just couldn't pass up the ease and fun of signing up again this year.

I'll definitely be picking up more bulk pickling cukes this year, as those jars went far too quickly, and with a new baby on the way, I'm glad to have another easy way to eat well all summer long!

Well-priced, large portions and delicious!

Last year was the first time we did a CSA and we loved it!! We had friends that participated in a different one last year and they were jealous of the selection that we got each week. We will definitely be doing the Madison Meadowlark CSA again in 2012!

Well-rounded offering.
By: Jesse Speer    (Feb 28, 2012)

Really enjoy the quality and variety of the produce I received in 2011. I actually participated in two local CSAs last year, and M.M. was by far the most rewarding. It was nice to chat with the CSA operators each week. Refreshing. And I liked being able to "shop" at the drop off location each week. The Hutterite offerings are amazing ... beer-can chicken was a huge hit around here.

I also took advantage of the reasonably-priced bulk ordering options, and am still today enjoying a lot of frozen/canned deliciousness!

Can't wait to see what 2012 brings.
