Mommy & Me Program
By: Jennifer Cook    (Jul 8, 2011)

My son and I attend the Mommy & Me program on Wednesday mornings. He just turned 2 and he loves it! Ms. Helen does an excellent program providing personal attention to each child and parent. As a teacher, I love that she also focuses on age appropriate skills and activities for the children to do. It is 45 minutes long and includes a fun educational lesson based on a specific farm animal, an up-close look at that animal, a fun craft or activity, and a healthy snack. We also attend the Sparta Farmers Market to get our weekly dose of their awesome farm fresh eggs! Keep up the excellent work! We love visiting the farm!

What a great place
By: Liz Roth    (Jul 18, 2010)

Sparta Mountain Farm is just wonderful. It is open open by appointment only. They have a great variety of animals. Our 2 year old had the best time visiting. We still can't decide which animals we liked the best. The alpacas and llammas were so sweet. And the ducks and goats are adorable. All of the animals seem so happy. The fresh eggs are so delicious. I will have a hard time buying eggs from a supermarket after having them so fresh. I hope to arrange a party for our daughter and her little friends on the farm one day soon. The alpaca hike sound like something fun to try soon. I would definitely recommend this place and can't wait to visit again soon.

Great Family Farm
By:    (Feb 9, 2010)

We just started to go to Sparta Mountain Farm for fresh eggs. We have really enjoyed our visits. The eggs are great! We have signed up for the Rent-A-Chick program. I look forward to the warmer weather when we can visit the animals and learn more about this wonderful farm.

A Family Farm Worth Visiting!
By: Jennifer Cook    (Jul 29, 2009)

The farm is small and upcoming, but run by a hard-working and very friendly family. The animals are fascinating and the new baby llama is so cute...but what is really worth it on this farm is the fresh chicken eggs. They are delicious!!! I was actually able to see the chickens roaming around and had a chance to feed them - they truly are free-range and fed all natural ingredients. SMF----Keep up the good work and keep my eggs coming!!!
