First Try of a CSA - Wonderful Experience!

I've really enjoyed the produce, eggs, flour, herbs, etc. this year (and the year hasn't ended yet!). It's my first experience with a CSA and it was NOT a disappointment. I was really afraid I'd get some of the sad looking produce I've seen at some of the Farmer's Markets, but that just hasn't happened! I'm so thrilled that I've had the opportunity, too, to try new things - Okra, Tomatillos, Bok Choy, and Beets (I was a VERY pickey eater....). It's been just great. In addition, if someone has a great recipe to share for a "different" item (I shared my Tomatillo Salsa recipe!), Cris emails the group to make sure everyone has the opportunity to try it. It's been a great experience. I look forward to every pick-up day - there's something wonderful waiting for me every time!

Great Success for your first year

We found Yoxall Creek Farm rather late in the growing season, and are very glad we did. The baskets are generously sized, the produce is TOP-NOTCH, and very clean. From our "later" season perspective, we were very satisfied with the variety of produce as well as the excellent quality. All we had to do was go home and figure how to best use the weekly bounty. As a bonus, the farm is located just minutes from where we live. And we are looking forward to next year already!
