Above and Beyond produce and service
By: Tina Beresford    (Apr 11, 2013)

Paula Carli's CSA baskets are wonderful. Not only are they a visual treat but she provides sooo much for the money. Seeing Paula and Frank work their farm, and I do mean work, with their attention to proper healthy farm practices is such a comfort in knowing their dedication to my health. You always get more than you expect and the baskets are such a visual treat too. There is always something, or maybe several unexpected and welcome items included. Once you meet this dedicated couple you have made friends for life. If you are ever lucky enough to be invited in to their grounds, home, and farm you will know what I mean. Thank you to the Carli's.

Fantastic Produce, Gorgeous Farm!
By: Celli Baker    (Jan 12, 2010)

I have frequented Windmill Farm from the beginning and cannot say enough good things about their fruits, vegetables, eggs and beautiful flowers!

As a mother of young children, it is very important that my family eat fresh, healthy food and that I know where it comes from. We have all visited the Farm and my kids have learned the value of hard work and what that produces. My kids have eaten fruit off Windmill Farm trees and tomatoes off the vine. They have also gone with Paula to collect fresh eggs. The lessons of healthy eating and the education in quality produce is priceless and my kids will often say at the grocery store, "don't buy it here, get it fresh!"

Thankfully, Paula and Frank run their convenient Farm Stand, where I can stop quickly and pick something up. The Stand is adorable and there is always a cute display of whatever seasonal produce is available. They will often have newsletters at their stand which allow me to keep up to date with whats happening and what yummy food to expect next. I love to stop by and peak at what work they have been doing on the property and with their beautiful Craftsman house. I especially love seeing those gorgeous German Shepherds!!

On occasion, I have contacted Paula with special orders of eggs or peaches, etc. and she has been so accomodating, meeting me or even delivering to my house! Always with something extra, like a bouquet of fresh basil!

I highly recommend Windmill Farm and tell everyone I know all about it! Stop by the stand or go visit them at the Gridley Farmers Market, you won't be sorry!

Awesome place
By: Tina Burkhart    (Jan 8, 2010)

I have seen Windmill Farm's fabulously displayed booth at the Colusa Farmer's Market and purchased many of her fruits and vegetables and they were excellent. Being so interested in knowing where my food comes from, I visited her farm in Gridley and was impressed with her farming practices and the beauty of her fields and orchards. The setting of the old Windmill and Farmhouse is a magical experience. I have since become a CSA member and look forward to 2010 to be able to eat a wide variety of her fruits, vegetables, herbs and especially get those farm fresh eggs!!! And a large bouquet of freshly cut flowers. You can't ask for more than that---Thank you Frank and Paula Carli for working so hard to provide the very best produce to your customers.

Love Windmill Farm
By: Sarah Reynolds    (Jan 7, 2010)

Windmill Farms in Gridley is wonderful. Great service and fresh produce always! Paula and Frank Carli take pride in their farm and shows when I pick up the great fresh eggs, tasty tomatoes, and Asian Pears. The farm stand is my favorite way to pick up produce from them. She is also at FM in Gridley and Colusa.
