Reviews for: Terripin Farms CSA
Best produce in the area!
By: Diane Speed (Nov 13, 2013)
Brad & Jessica grow the best fresh produce in the entire area, available through both CSA shares and farmers markets. No matter where you get your Terripin Farms veggies from, you know you're getting fresh-picked, naturally grown, non GMO goods grown with their own hands.
Their sweet corn, melons, tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants are my favorites (I can't pick just one!) but I've never had a veggie from them that I didn't like!
They could (and probably should) charge a heck of a lot more based on their quality and how much work I know it must take. But, instead, their prices crazy reasonable, not even taking into account the amazing quality.
And, like others have mentioned, getting to know the Terripin Farms family is just as enjoyable as their veggies! They are hard working, kind, and generous. They are incredibly knowledgeable about what they grow and are always educating we consumers.
I love Terripin Farms!

We have participated in several CSAs in the past but now that we have found Terripin Farms (3 years so far) we are no longer looking to try someone else. Jessica and Brad are the best for consistent quality, variety and value. The produce is varied and delicious. They listen to their customers and change their crops from year to year to respond to us. We get a half share for 2 adults and find that some weeks we have extra to freeze for the winter. Their sweet corn and melons are just amazing this summer. In addition to the great produce, it has been fun to get to know Jessica and Brad.
Eat more veggies

Brad and Jessica provide a variety of foods every week. They are very open to member suggestions and input, and they plant crops that appeal to everyone, even if the weather doesn't cooperate.
Even when the farm experiences drought or flooding, the baskets are always well-stocked. The quality of the food is great. I never liked Brussel spouts until I tasted the ones they grew. Even squash is growing on me!
Brad and Jessica are very personable. Our kids look forward to Thursday's pickup, to see Jessica, and see what foods we're getting for the week.
We've gotten a full share the last 3 years, and it's a good value for the money.
Health! and friendship!

I sought a CSA for the health benefits of fresh, carefully grown produce, and found what I sought. My 1/2 share brought me 20 weeks of bounty, vegetables better than I ever tasted and new experiences with kale, chard, okra, fennel. My doctors agree with me on the physical benefits. I have frozen some of the surplus each week, to get me through the winter months, but I can hardly wait for spring because of the unexpected bonus: Friendship!!! Gathering each Thursday to get our lovely food, we found ourselves in conversations that enriched our lives. Brad and Jessica are good people, who have attracted good people, and our get-togethers in the parking lot, sharing recipes and stories, have built a community of caring people. Sometimes we are lucky enough to stumble upon a very good thing -- and this is one of those times!

Our first experience with a CSA, and we are thrilled. Jess and Brad are wonderful people and have provided us with a summer full of different and delicious veggies. Each basket we received was huge and had lots of variety, even when the rain washed away some of the crops. We got a full share and split it three ways. I definitely recommend it! ~Michelle

This is our first year in a CSA. I love this farm. Jessica and Brad are so nice and they grow such a wide variety of familiar and exotic vegetables. We always get more than enough food, even with a half share.
