We loved the two 9.5 lb turkeys we got for Thanksgiving. Great flavor and moistness, and the dark meat was so dark! Really authentic taste.
Best eggs ever!

I received two dozen of your wonderful eggs yesterday. Today I had two of them for my breakfast. Wow, were they delicious! They certainly have more flavor and color than the kind you get at the supermarket! And, the shells are nice and firm. They don't crumble into little pieces when I break them into my pan. Well done! You are indeed a great egg grower! Thank you very, very much! When I travel through Bellingham I will order more eggs from you.
Best turkery I've ever tasted.

I can't wait for next year.
I've worked as a chef and attended cooking school. This was the best turkey I've ever tasted. It had much more flavor and was more moist than any I've ever served. The dark meat was incredibly dark and the texture reminded me of duck breast.
I highly recommend buying from Frianeza. Let me know when you have chickens and eggs available. I can't wait until I can get another turkey or two from Frianeza.
The gizzards were magnificent. Anna generously gave me three. They were so large I only used one for a meal. Fortunatey my wife thinks she doesn't like gizzards so I have two more in the freezer to enjoy later.
I was fortunate enough to see the turkeys alive and watch the wave of turkeys as they ran toward us. as we approached their roomy, healthy pen. The conditions for these turkeys are so healthy and humane that commercial turkey growers who sell to supermarkets should be embarassed and outlawed. What a great experience. Next year I hope to video the turkey stampede toward visitors.
One of the reasons I buy local food is because of the quality of the food. Another reason is because I get a chance to meet special people who care about the food they grow and treat their animals ethically and humanely. Thank you Frianeza. Keep up the good work.
Heritage turkey for Thanksgiving
By: Dave Gerstenberger (Nov 27, 2010)
We roasted a Bourbon Red Heritage Turkey from Frianeza Farmstead for Thanksgiving. It was excellent!
This was our first experience with heritage turkey and it was very flavorful and moist. There was no comparison to any previous turkey we have had.
We have also had broiler chicken and eggs from Frianeza, also excellent. For the chicken, it was the superior flavor and moistness that impressed us. The eggs had great flavor and intense color in the yolks. Also, the eggs had greater viscosity; they did not spread across the pan when opened, like other eggs.
We give them our highest recommendation.
