Reviews for: Appenzell Farm

My family has been lucky enough to enjoy eggs, rabbit and chicken from Appenzell and we have enjoyed all of them. We no longer have to question the quality of the food we're buying, because we know all of Appenzell's products are wonderful. It's so nice and refreshing to eat delicious and fresh food. Keep up the good work!

If you're not already hooked on free range chicken then it's time to try. Appenzell's chickens are incredible. If you live in the Cache Vally this is the place to get your poultry.
We have enjoyed Appenzell's rabbits as well. It's the only place we know with rabbit.
Both chickens and rabbits were very well dressed and packaged.
It's great to eat tasty, wholesome food and it feels good to support a local family farm with exceptional products.

Appenzell Farm came to my rescue. As a new resident of Cache Valley, I didn't know where to go for good meat and eggs, until I found Appenzell. My husband used to refuse to eat chicken until he tried Appenzell chicken. Now he requests it for dinner often! The eggs are delicious too and we know we are giving our bodies something healthy. Thanks, Appenzell!
Good for the Paleo types.

I am a Paleo eater and natural food is nearly impossible to buy at the store, so finding a gem like Appenzell farms has been fantastic. I took a tour and meet Jessie Iliked everything I saw and so will you. The eggs are heathy and perfect. The taste of the chickens can not be matched by anything you can find at the store. I live in WIllard and I cant find anything eles in the area that can compare. Also the price of there products is unbeliveable, check them out, If you are looking to improve your heath one simple step is to eat more naturaly, The fat profile is very much improved and micronutrient content of naturaly rasied birds(and there eggs) translates into improved omega 3 and 6 ratios. A major cause of inflamation.
Great, local chicken!

What a treat to be able to get a wonderful product that is grown right here in our own valley. Talk about eating local! I love that the chicken is pasture raised. Jesse is great to work with and very accommodating. Their website is eye-catching, I love to read the blog updates and Facebook updates. I will used them again next year. Two birds fed two adults just fine as part of our normal dinner repertoire. I did not have to buy chicken from the store for 6 months. I'm almost reluctant to eat chicken from the store now since I don't know where it's coming from, and does not come anywhere the taste of fresh, local birds. The eggs and the birds are very reasonably priced.
Good for Appenzell

After only one year of operation, Appenzell Farms has developed an excellent operation. They have an active presence at the Cache Valley Farmer's Market, they communicate effectively by email, blog, website, and they have great products. As a chicken owner well aware of how important it is for chickens to be able to roam, I am particularly happy that they do not use chicken tractors, which while preferable to most chicken operations, still do not allow chickens to roam and express their curiosity and delight in movement. Appenzell is doing everything right!
