Reviews for: Alamogordo Farmers' Market in Historic Downtown
Come from Cloudcroft every week!

Obviously I wish there was something in Cloudcroft, but Alameda park is the next best thing. In the peak of the season there is tons to choose from! Last year I went down almost every week! Have to get there right away though, sells out fast. Especially if you want tomatoes. There are wide varieties of fruits and vegetables. Thing I remember most from last year was the figs. Didn't have those where I grew up and they were a treat.
Awesome addition to Alamogordo

The addition of this farmers' market to Alamogordo has been fantastic. Alameda park is a beautiful place to to enjoy the local produce of the Tularosa basin. I also love that they are open on a weekday evening, I get there and find tons of delicious food and am able to enjoy an alamogordo evening surrounded by Cottonwoods. It's a lot easier to get to than the saturday morning farmers' market that usually sells out before you can get in the gate.

It's a lot easier to get to than the saturday morning farmers' market that usually sells out before you can get in the gate. We take exception to the above comment. The gate always opens 5 minutes before the market opens.. Granted you must be promptly there when the market opens. We have alot of people and good produce. We welcome all comers to our market at the fairgrounds and we are the long established market.
