We have never had chicken like this before and it was really different. We baked ours with just sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper and it was much more flavorful than the chain store chicken we usually get. Before cooking, I noticed that the skin was nice and pink and not slimy at all, and I didn't have to worry about bleaching the kitchen after preparing the chicken. We got eggs too and they were wonderful. No sulphery smell, probably from the natural foods the layers eat and because they were just laid a day or two before we ate them. All in all, we like having the choice to buy fresh, clean and humanely raised chickens and eggs for a change.
