Certified Organic CSA
By: Audra Cooper    (Jan 16, 2013)

After moving to the area, I started looking for a CSA that was certified organic. I lucked out and found New Harmony Farm located in Newbury, MA. This is my first time at joining a CSA and I'm very happy with the results.

The quality has been fantastic and there's always a good variety of veggies to choose from. Erin also brings in organic vegetables from other farms to give more variety to the shares.

There are two different days for pickup at two locations which is very convenient. Another thing which I do appreciate are the reminder emails for pickup, along with suggested recipes for the veggies that will be distributed for the week.

I'm looking forward to another great year!

Customer Review

The things I look for in a CSA are food quality, harmony with nature, local and price. I have been in two other CSA's in the Newbury/Newburyport area and switched to New Harmony Farm when I heard Erin purchased the land. I have not been disappointed! Erin promotes "organic and beyond" farming methods at a fair price. The quality is excellent and the location is close to Newburyport, a busy town.

New Harmony farm is blazing a trail in new organic methods for growing vegetables and sits on the cutting edge of exciting new research into mineral rich farming. Erin combines all of this in a very friendly, open and community focused environment. I would highly recommend New Harmony Farm.

New Harmony Sings
By: Elizabeth Marcus    (Nov 16, 2011)

I was a CSA small share member at New Harmony Farm this year. I have belonged to CSA's for a decade now, but this was my first with New Harmony. I was very satisfied with the quality, quantity and variety of the produce we received. I particularly liked some of the varieties we received that you would never see in the supermarket ... especially not organic.

One of the best parts of the CSA was the enthusiasm and availability of the farmer, Erin Stack. She was always there ready to answer questions, solve any issues, or to just visit. This was the first year for the New Harmony CSA, which Erin took over very late in the season from the former owners. She pulled it together admirably for this year and has great plans for next year. I can't wait to see how it all develops!
