I just wanted to let you guys know how impressed I am with your approach after watching the Farm to Fork documentary linked from Dr. Mercola's website. We have a few ranchers in the Austin area who use similar approaches and I go out of my way to buy their beef. Keep up the great work and I hope your methods become contagious.

As a high school ag teacher of 26 years and involved in directly grain feeding my own beef for all of my life, I decided to try a half a beef from Lost Wells Cattle Co, LLC mainly because my freezer was empty of our grain fed beef. As a former FFA meats coach, I am very particular about the marbling and taste of the meat I raise. I was very pleasantly please with the degree of marbling and even more excited about the overall taste of the meat we got from Lost Wells. The steaks have a very unique flavor that I had never tasted from a grain fed beef.

Great tasting beef

We first tried the best cut in my opinion, the rib steaks and noted how nicely the meat was marbled. I didn't expect that from grass fed beef. The most unique element of our dining experience though was the taste. The meat has a particularly good taste, way different from grocery store beef. I'm afraid that now that I've developed a taste for grass fed, it will be very difficult to go back to store bought.
