Great Food Great People
By: Mandi Hubbs    (Nov 19, 2014)

I've been extremely fortunate to enjoy both a Summer share and a Winter share with Urban Roots. Both seasons were a pleasure. The farmers and interns are super friendly and happy to talk with you about anything you might want to know about the food. They also regularly have other goodies there like eggs and bread that are produced locally. I also enjoy supporting this CSA because their efforts are far reaching in the community. They had a hand in creating several school gardens and also have done a lot of work to innovate the farmers market. I love supporting this farm.

Friendly Neighborhood Farmers
By:    (Nov 18, 2014)

I have participated in community supported agriculture (CSA) through Urban Roots for several seasons. My friends and I are consistently flabbergasted by the great variety/quality/freshness of their food.

Urban Roots is amazingly productive year-round on one acre all while maintaining or improving their soil. These farmers know their stuff!

They're also a vital part of their local community. (I live a few blocks down the street from the farm.) They host fun community get-togethers, as well as other events, to which everybody is invited.

I recommend Urban Roots to anyone who loves to eat local and fresh.

Delightfully Delicious

I am always amazed by the quality and variety of veggies. I have visited the farm several times and see improvements to the land with each visit.

It is beyond obvious that Melissa & Adam are deeply about offering top quality food to their community.
