Want to meet a man who lives and breathes vegetable farming? Well try some of Georges produce. His fields and facilities are immaculate. His produce has unsurpassed quality and taste. I would know because I used to work for him before I started my own farm. I visit when I can and every time my jaw drops with how much love I see has been poured into this operation. Myself and many others consider him a hero type of farmer. Glad to have had this man in my life.
My Favorite Farmer

Can't say enough good things about MorningSide Farms! I have been buying healthy fresh organic vegetables from George and Mary for the past few years. They are wonderful people and work hard to bring us healthy veggies. I have been getting more interested in organic farming and have been juicing for the past few years so go through an abundance of produce every week. I always buy from them if possible so last summer I worked out a work for food program with them. I would work several days a month in exchange for fresh produce. It helped me realize how truly hard they work at organic farming! I appreciated their efforts before but my respect for them went up exponentially after working on the farm. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication!

MorningSide Farm provides an impressive array of high quality certified organic produce. Not your run-of-the-mill vegetables, George focuses on unique and flavorful varieties that liven up the dinner table. Highly recommend!

Food nourishes on many levels. The folks at Morningside Farm get it. Visit their farm or market stand for an abundant variety of vegetables, greens, herbs and fruit - a veritable feast for the eyes and appetite! It tastes as good as it looks.
Their selection is the best. There is something delightful, authentic and surprising in the odd shapes and colors of bunches of carrots, baskets of potatoes and squashes (unlike the uniformity of commercial, commoditized foodstuffs). Graceful lettuces, delicate fresh ginger root and chubby sweet blueberries they had to fight the birds for.
[Farmer] George Remington's generous spirit comes through in his harvest. Organic farming is hard work and requires patience, optimism, mindful observation and attentiveness, along with a strong back and will to match. Organic production respects the land, the environment and the potential in every seed. We're the beneficiaries.
Thanks to Morningside Farm's greenhouses, we can continue to eat well throughout the winter!
The Best Around (no green water balloons here!)

I have been going to local farmer's markets for several years now, and of all the choices of organic vegetables, I was immediately drawn to the table of Morningside Farm. The produce display definitely stands out with vibrant color and freshness. So, I wanted to know how and why their produce stood out so much. My friends and I joined the CSA last year, and with that we were able to volunteer on the farm and get to see first hand all that goes into making that stuff grow so beautifully.
Mr. Remington has researched and studied what the plants need from seed to harvest to preservation, as well as what the soil needs to keep producing such nutrient rich vegetables. His hard work and dedication is immediately evident, not only by looking at his products, but especially when you visit the farm. I highly recommend Morningside Farm for all your greens and vegetable needs!
