The food is ripe and in season. The flavor is fantastic. It couldn't be any easier or more convenient! I especially enjoy the variety that comes each week. It is like having a present delivered to my door every Monday! We are definitely eating more healthy food thanks to Avalon Farms! I can't tell you enough how wonderful they are. The vegetables are delivered right to my door. Which is really nice since I have three small children, and we don't live near the farmers market. They ask that you leave a cooler with ice on your porch to keep the veggies fresh. This works out great! My neighbors have seen me doing this, and several of them ended up signing up for veggie delivery also. The super people at Avalon in years past have also provided info about the farm, recipes, opportunities to buy extra tomatoes for canning, participate in classes at the farm and many other great community building events.
