Paradise in Portland

I first noticed the beautiful hand-lettered sign as I drove west on Burnside last year. It wasn't a CSA yet, so she just sold produce once a week, on Friday afternoons, and stopping there quickly became a weekly ritual. Great fresh organic produce, wonderful eggs in different lovely shades of blue and brown, great conversation, lovely little eden with chickens clucking and goats standing at the fence watching visitors. This year she's doing subscription exclusively, and I was lucky to get on the list. She's full, but you can email to get on the waiting list. And her website is beautiful, like a virtual visit, with lots of great photos and a history of the place and how she came to be a farmer.
